Yo Gotti - Harder feat Rick Ross

I'm not exactly all the way engulfed in the rap game, however this track (produced by Lil Lody) is a total bite. Am I right? Is this acceptable to steal the riff of a track not even 5 years old and re-hash it? This isn't like Mac Miller dropping 5th Ave sampling a classic. This is a bite, in my opinion. Lazy.
