Another golden age Ludacris remix. On this one DJ Cheapshot takes ‘Stand Up’ and takes it from a club jam into a very well produced (I checked twice on the link and it doesn’t appear to be a mashup) more chilled out version. Very nice production on this. He gave this a very distinct vibe.

Definitely not the most popular Ludacris single from his impressive career, although I do drop the hook as a transition in my sets from time to time. Here is a nice Moombahton edit from DJ Broken Record that speeds it up a bit but sticks close to the original (good for top 40 crowds). I have no doubt folks will get crunk to this tune.

Benzi & ESenTRik bring a classic dance tune from Deekline & Ed Solo Mandy & Booka Shade to the table and uses it to remix Top of the World by The Cataracs and Dev.

This beat holds a special place in my heart. About 10 years ago I made my first mashup, as the kids call them these days, for an audio production class at junior college. I used this beat and added vocals from a handful of tracks. Even did some basic scratching on it. Yea I blew the rest of the projects away. Just sayin. I’m still trying to find it!

I suppose with the recent trend it was only a matter of time before someone made a radio track out of Confusion, better known to the general public as ‘the blade song.’ I remember copping the vinyl for it. I was so cool. Anybody know who produced this? My gut instinct is going to go with Jim Jonsin.
