If you were driving down Rainbow Road to the club of your dreams you would be listening to Wave Racer. 21 year old Tom Purcell takes Jersey Club, pixelates it, adds neon piano synth, and takes it back to the future. Just listen to his take on Ghost Town DJ’s R&B classic “My Boo”.
After touring with Chromeo and six U.S. dates Wave Racer continues to pick up steam. There are no future tour dates announced but keep an eye out; he will most likely be added to some Spring and Summer festivals.
