Oh yeah, as far as Tosh being a racist. I think he is referring to Drug Dealers, and wanna be Hip Hop Stars. of all races, as being poor tippers. He may in fact be a racist, but I don’t think he said anything in that video that was racist.

I don’t think he is racist…just corny and unfunny. One of the worst shows on TV, but then again…”comedy” central has been going down hill for years now..
However this site is pretty racist – clearly why they had to put their “we are not racist our best friends are black” disclaimer on…LOL. Its no different from the guy at the stadium wearing an afro wig, doing the braves chop, laughing it up. It is simply making fun of another culture by pretending to like it and pointing out extremes to make fun of. Pretty see-through stuff going on here.
Why not make a site about rock music and have fun with that? Is it because its not funny when we are laughing at our own lame culture? LOL

Wow. It’s hilarious how everyone takes offense to things. As has been pointed out twice, but nobody wants to touch up on it because they have no answer, if this was a black person making blatant racist remarks at white people, it isn’t racist. Believe it or not I’m a former Nation of Islam member and have for the majority of my life, held a pro-black worldview. Let’s just say my racism antenna is fineley tuned. This video isn’t racist nor do I think Tosh is a racist. I believe that this was a sharp “critique” of ignorant blacks/people who self-fufill & perpetuate negative stereotypes. I’m glad he did this and I’d also like to add that he even seems to have a “desire to positively affect change” in the lampooned “hip-hop baller types”. I don’t think he’s a racist. I even like his response to Averge Homeboy when confronted with a “reverse racism” argument that many whites subscibe to. In reference to BET, Average Homeboy bitterly asks; “Should we start WET?” Tosh’s response: “I think it would be called NBC, CBS, & FOX”. (Boooyahhh!)
The video isn’t racist. Helpfullness, not harm, is an ingredient in this Tosh.0 segment.

heres my 2 cents. the things you hear on here are funny as hell and thats why he says them. people get so sensitive when they POSSIBLY could be getting made fun of on tv. im white and i feel like no matter where i go i constantly hear people making fun of whites and our culture. but nobody gives a fuck because only white people can be racist right? im suddenly not on topic anymore but i dont give a fuck. bottom line. everybody needs to stop complaining about things as miniscule as the jokes made on this show because heres the fact; everybody is racist. and if you sau your not your in denial. you can totally not have a problem with any race but when it comes down to it there are things that seperate all of the races and when you acknowledge that you are technically being racist.

Been watching Tosh for a while. He is racist in that his jokes on minorities (regardless of the video’s context) involve thugs, get a job, do my yard, seven eleven, dots on heads, smelly ethnics, etc. His jokes on whites all refer to the what is actually on the video.

I think its important to remember there is a HUGE difference between being possibly offensive to a race and just plain old racist. He is just as “racist” as Chapple Show was, and his jokes all in good fun just like him too. But “Is this racist ” is in the name of the skit so I guess I understand the debate.

Does anyone recall the imagery testing they did by flashing different pictures of different people from different races in front of each other and checked for body language responses?
I do.
I recall that some of this could come into play, even if not on purpose (about the tipping thing).
I’ve had higher tips from redneck trash, than I have from members of the Jacksonville Jaguars football team. I didn’t ask for autographs, and tried my best to treat them better (because i knew them from my home team).
Still, no tip. Not one dime. TWO of them were eating with each other. New-money wanna-be thugs (they had chains on, and no belts btw). It’s not about black vs white either, because I know actual Africans who don’t act this way. It’s the culture, not the race. Period.

Just watched an episode where he showed a black man doing incredible work out routines (chin ups, etc.) and he made absolutely disgusting jokes. He said “at least he’s only dating fat white chicks”, then said “at least my credit score is higher” and finished it off with “oh look, he’s practicing for another hurricane Katrina in New Orleans”. I’m a white female, and I felt violated and disgusted. How dare the comedy network allow such disgusting, racist remarks to be aired and laughed at. I’m all for lude and rude, but those comments were dirty and unacceptable. Tosh.o is a racist twit that does not belong in 2010.

I’m black. Pro black. Very black. Grew up in an area of all mostly African-Americans though I am very familiar and comfortable with all races. As a black man I take absolutely no offense to what he’s saying. A lot of people who flash their money and make it rain to show off their wealth aren’t really fiscally sound.
